A Message From Nature

There lives an extraordinary majestic tree, who is also known as the queen of river banks. Her curious ways have set her apart from other trees. She is none other than the great FIG TREE. She usually appears never to flower, yet mysteriously she fruits several times a year. She doesn’t have any regards for seasons and drops her leaves whenever she feels and she wants.

But the most astonishing and amusing thing about her is the strange relationship with her partner. One can withstand the strongest floods and the other could drown in a dew drop. One can live for centuries and the other only for hours. They differ in size a billion times over. The unbelievable truth is no fig tree could exist without her tiny little partner. If you are wondering who is it…then my dear friends it is a fig wasp.

It may l ook strange, but it is one of the most fascinating facts of nature. Nature is linked together by such countless invisible bonds. Not only the big creatures, but the micro-organisms also believe and perform SYMBIOSIS. It is nothing but coexisting, sharing and helping others.

This mystery of nature coerce to think and ponder about the outlandish human behavior and relations. The message from nature is loud and clear. If they can, why cant we? Unlike these amazing creatures, why we prefer parasitism over symbiosis? Let us not disregard the cues of nature. It is giving us a call for action.

Realize, life is not a competition. It is about helping and inspiring others so that, each can reach their highest potential. “The greatest good is what we do for one another“, said Mother Teresa. So, Let’s respect every individual and increase our tolerance levels by accepting others the way they are. Let us Live and Let Live.
